New Vibram FiveFingers for autumn, warm and casual

There are two new styles coming from the Italian brand this autumn. Each year seems to bring a few new models or replacement for older ones. The new Vibram FiveFingers Trek Ascent Insulated in this case is replacing the Bikila EVO WP and Lontra.

It uses the Icetrek rubber from the brand, supposed to give better traction on cold surfaces, icy or snow. The Trek Ascent Insulated is also, as the name imply, insulated against the cold. No need to freeze you feet anymore to wear VFFs in the winter. The upper is made of WR Cordura and the liner of Wool. Stack height of 8mm.

The other announcement is a new style called the CVT Wool and is a rather comfy looking pair of VFFs. The wool upper gives the CVT Wool a casual style well suited for city walking. The pair is also one of the thickest with a 12mm stack height.
