Westcomb turning up the heat with better down for fall 2013 collection

Canadian down meets state of the art Canadian made apparels. Westcomb, gear manufacturer from Vancouver, has announced its intentions of using better down filling in the form of 900 fill-power untreated Hutterite down.

The down produced from the Hutterite community is taken from adult geese raised as sustainable food source. It is hypo-allergenic and naturally water-resistant without addition of any coating like we can find in DriDown and DownTek.

Some of the new kit will feature the Rainier Sweater, a midlayer made of Pertex Quantum with Polartech NeoShell panels, the Chilko Sweater (pictured above), lightweight Pertex Quantum down jacket, the Dakota Hoody, a parka for women and the Pemberton parka for men.
