Alpkit gets started into stoves with the tiny Kraku

Alpkit have added to their range of cookware an ultralight stove, the Kraku. In their own words “possibly the world’s lightest, commercially available, ultralight gas stove”.

The Kraku weights just 45g / 1.6oz and is made of titanium alloy, aluminum and brass. It is also tiny: diameter 37 mm x height 52 mm folded which is means it should be easy to pack. From the pictures on Alpkit’s website, the Kraku is a real beauty, for a gas stove, and looks really well made. Alpkit are not producing it themselves but teamed up with Fire Maple, one of the leading gas stove manufacturer worldwide.

The Kraku is available now from their website and the price is also tiny: £25. A great idea for a budget Christmas gift.
