Columbia drains it with Drainmaker

In a world ruled by waterproof breathable membrane, it is interesting to see a top of the line brand like Columbia make something a bit different. Water shoes are nothing new of course but none look as desirable as the Drainmaker.

Columbia’s take on the water shoe is a hybrid running shoe with special water friendly tech. It starts with a lightweight open cell mesh with toe cap on top of a Techlite midsole with holes in it to get that water draining capabilities. The lot is finished by an Omni-Grip Wet Grip rubber outsole.

At 502g the pair, they should feel incredibly light on the feet. They are declined in three models, men, women and youth so all the family can enjoy a good water excursion.
