Japanese brand Teton Bros to launch in the US

Experienced mountaineer Nori Suzuki started Teton Bros in 2007 to bring better quality mountain gear to Japan. His first product, the TB Jacket, was inspired by a trip he took to the US.

Since then he and Junko Suzuki, created a full collection of high quality mountain products to address the needs of Alpinist, backcountry skiers and the everyday outdoor enthusiasts. And until now, none were available in the US.

Starting november, Teton Bros is bringing a subset of its 50+ styles collections to the US. Men and Women styles are for now focused on snow sports and mountaineering with hard-shells, bibs and base layers. Their iconic TB Jacket for example is a Polartec Neoshell 66000 Supplex Nylon hard-shell with helmet compatible hood and no less than 4 pockets and weighting only 520g.

We’d also love to try the Crag Jacket, combining Pertex Microlight with Polartec Alpha insulation for warmth on the go.

And the great news for light builds like me, is that they seem to offer sizes down to XXS for men and XS for women. Their website is still in progress it seems but I’m sure they will have it ready for the November official launch. http://en.teton-bros.com/.
