Mammut’s new Brecon boots for the UK market

The Brits wanted a specifically designed boot to hike around the isle so Mammut created the Brecon, a mid-height leather boot sold exclusively in the UK

The Brecon is a men only model and features a Vibram MT Traction outsole coupled with Mammut’s own Motion-Control system to provide stability and flexibility. Waterproofness is ensured by a Gore-Tex Performance Comfort Footwear membrane which should do just fine for those wet days in the Lake District or the Peaks.

The 2.2mm waxed suede leather upper and the rubber toe cap should make this boot sturdy and able to withstand the worst treatments. Mammut also added what they call Rolling Concept, a padded ankle and tongue for better fit and cushioning.

The RPP of the Brecon boots is £145, a good price considering you will be able to find them a cheaper if you shop around a bit. GoOutdoors have them now at £129.99.
