Mountain Hardwear new jackets and award from ISPO Munich

We stopped by Mountain Hardwear’s booth for a quick look at the gear coming in the next Fall-Winter collection and also to see the Hydra Lite Gloves, winner of an ISPO award.

First let’s talk about the Torsun jacket, Mountain Hardwear flagship jacket for next season. It features a 3 layer construction with the new Dry Q Elite waterproof breathable membrane paired with a 40D face fabric that looks really tough. Asymetrical cuffs, helmet compatible 3 way adjustable hood and two way front zip complete the list. Weight: 516g, available in Fall for men and women. RRP £280 and £250 respectively.

The other star of the booth was the Super Compressor Hooded jacket. It uses the synthetic fill developed by Mountain Hardwear called Thermal.Q Elite, in a S-Baffle construction to avoid cold spots. The two hand warmer pockets are raised to be compatible with a harness and the hood is helmet compatible. Weight: 479g. Available for men only this Fall, RRP £200.
