ALPS Ultra-Light Tarp Shelter
The Ultra-Light Tarp Shelter is for fast-packers looking to cut weight and simplify camp setup.
Made from 20D 380T ripstop nylon with a 3000mm silicone/PU coating, this 6-point catenary cut tarp measures 380cm x 295cm and weighs only 425g.
The Ultra-Light Tarp Shelter is wind-stable and easily accommodates two people and gear.
Taped seams, aluminium tri-stakes, and reflective guy lines provide many secure pitching options.
ALPS Utility Tarp Shelter
At 709g and 295 x 295 cm, the ALPS Utility Tarp is a smaller and heavier budget option. Good for gear storage or group sheltering in a traditional camp set-up.
The 68D 210T polyester ripstop features a 1500 mm PU coating to resist UV damage. The light colour permits light transmission for better dusk/dawn visibility.
Note that both the Ultra-Light Tarp Shelter and the Utility Tarp require an additional Tarp Pole. ALPS offer a 5-section, 6000 series aluminium adjustable pushbutton pole separately (482g).
