Petzl new NAO headlamp piles up awards

Petzl, well known for their hand free lighting systems introduced back in January the NAO, a headlamp which can automatically adjusts it light intensity and beam type.

The NAO comes with what they call Reactive Lighting technology. In short this new tech allows the headlamp to change its intensity by using light and depth sensors. The changes happen seamlessly without the user having to touch a button. So instead of constantly tweaking your headlight you can just switch it on and get on with what you came for, the adventure.

The NAO scored numerous awards after the ISPO show in Munich starting with the show’s own award, the ISPO Product Award for the Outdoor segment in the Hardware Accessories category. Petzl new headlamp was also awarded Best in Show and Gear of the Show awards by GearJunkie and Outside Magazine respectively.
