Organic Basics is releasing a new collection of men’s underwear, t-shirts, and long sleeves called SilverTech 2.0. It is the follow-up to a very successful campaign they ran two years ago and apparently it’s even greener.

We know that the fashion industry is a dirty bastard, but did you know that washing and drying accounts for ⅔ of the environmental impact of a piece of clothing? In our opinion, this problem needs to be solved by the fashion industry first (that’s us). We believe in setting higher standards, and leading the way when it comes to sustainable fashion.
The SilverTech 2.0 collection is made from Q-Nova recycled nylon, developed in Italy from post-industrial waste fibre. Nylon is great because it is a durable, moisture wicking fabric. The products also make use of Polygiene for odor control. A safe, Bluesign-approved silver treatment made from recycled electronic, industrial, and photographic waste.
SilverTech 2.0 is only for men for now and will come in the form of a long sleeve top (202 g), a T-shirt (165 g) and Boxers (76 g). All three available in grey and green.
