The Aura and Atmos AG were demoed on last years trade shows and made a name for themselves when the gold industry award was attributed to the Atmos AG 65 at Outdoor.
The principal difference in the new models is the AntiGravity back system. This new type of suspended back panel is said to make the pack float on your back while still supporting the weight perfectly.
Both the Atmos and the Aura AG are designed for hikers and come with all the usual bells and whistles you can expect from Osprey. Another new feature and a unique one if we were to believe the marketing guys, is the ventilated hip belt. It is true that we have never seen something like this before in a backpack.
The Atmos is the men version, available in two size: a 50L one weighting 1.99kg and a 65L at 2.18kg. The Aura, the women specific version is available in 50L, 1.87kg and 65L weighting 2.08kg.
Official prices are £180 for the 65 liters and £160 for the 50. Available right now in your favourite shop.
