Marmot FusionDri jackets now available

Announced last year at OutDoor and now available, Marmot’s FusionDri waterproof/breathable membrane is the brand’s take at improving comfort of traditional WP/B garment.

FusionDri is a 3-layer construction made of a 15 denier stretch fabric called False Twisted, a waterproof/breathable membrane on the inside a wicking DriClime Mesh. The idea is for the DriClime fabric to absorb and hold moisture away from the skin, which on paper should result in a less clammy, more comfortable jacket. The moisture is then passed to the membrane where it will spread out and evaporate.

Marmot have already a few jackets out using FusionDri, the high-end Speedri (13.9 oz / 394.1 g), $360, for men and women, the Interfuse (1 lbs 0.6 oz / 470.6 g), $350 and the Micro G, $300, both for men only.
