Ultralight Travel Towels from Matador

Ultralight Travel Towels are the latest addition to the Matador range.

Matador is known for its compact travel blankets. Durable, water-resistant blankets that pack down into pocket-size stuff sacks. The company has since expanded into the ultralight backpacking category. They now have a wide range of technical backpacks, duffels and carry solutions.

These new ultralight travel towels are a complement to their existing products and a return to their roots. (The name Matador came from the resemblance of the unfurling of their blankets to that of a bull fighter’s cape).

Matador Ultralight Travel Towels

Matador’s new towels are designed for compact portability and absorbency. Available in two sizes, they fold into an integrated mesh stuff sack for easy packing.

We’ve taken our best-selling travel towels and engineered them for those who count every ounce. These ultralight towels offer all of the same benefits, at nearly half the weight.

Chris Clearman, Founder and CEO of Matador

The towels can absorb 2.3 times their own weight in water. The quick-drying nanofiber material means no waiting around before packing up. If you do need to set off in a hurry, the towels have handy loops so you can clip them to the outside of your pack.
