The Salewa Smartphone Insulator with Recco Reflector is a waterproof and protective phone protector, but insulated with Tirol Wool. This traps heat generated by the battery, and thus keeps those reactions churning and your phone working for longer.

Salewa developed the pouch in collaboration with Recco and Mountain Rescue, to add an extra level of security for its users.
A Recco Reflector enables search and rescue helicopters equipped with a Recco Detector to locate you should you run into trouble in the mountain.
The detector emits a powerful radar signal, like the beam of a torch.
When the signal hits the reflector, it bounces back to the detector and points the rescuer in the direction of the casualty.
As the detector gets closer to the reflector, the returned-signal gets stronger, allowing the rescuer to precisely pinpoint the location.
