Sustainable Wooden Camping Cutlery from GSI Outdoors
GSI Outdoors have released a range of sustainable wooden camping cutlery.
The Rakau Collection, is made from FSC certified wood, and eco-friendly, recycled materials.
The collection features a 3-piece Cutlery Set, a Spatula, a Chef Spoon, and Tongs. All are made from sustainably grown beechwood.
Also in the range are a bamboo Cutting Board and Picnic Table, and a Stainless Steel Knife Set made with upcycled production wood scrap handles.
We’ve had our hearts set on a sustainable line for years and years now. Not only do we as a company believe in preserving the land that we get to play on, we truly believe our customers care about it too. And this new Rakau line is our opportunity to share our belief in designing environmentally-conscientious products with the world, and to make an impact through nonprofit donations.

The new GSI Outdoors Rakau range of sustainable wooden camping cutlery features:
- 3 piece Cutlery Set: A wooden knife, fork and spoon all made from solid FSC certified beechwood. Comes in a travel bag made from recycled water bottles.
- Spatula, Chef Spoon and Tongs: Also made from FSC beechwood, each piece sold separately.
- Cutting Board: A two-sided laminated bamboo cutting board. Includes a drip channel for draining liquids.
